Sonic 2 HD is an independent high-definition remake of the classic game with the same title. Sonic the Hedgehog was one of the most popular franchises during the early to middle days of home console systems. This application was made by some fans of the game. The developers went to painstaking lengths to recreate everything in the game. The graphics are similar but improved for high definition screens. The sound effects and music have also been improved. The gameplay is exactly the same although not all controllers are supported. The only issue with Sonic 2 HD is that it offers nothing new at all. This could cause some people who know the game well to become a little bored.
